First Authorised Treatment Facility
J Davidson is proud to have been the first North West Authorised Treatment Facility for the Safe Disposal of End of Life Vehicles.
This accreditation allows us to safely dispose of scrap cars in line with the end of life vehicle regulations 2003.
We have a direct link with the DVLA, this enables us to issue you with a Certificate of Destruction upon collection of your vehicle.
This link also enables us to immediately send confirmation to the DVLA that your vehicle has been destroyed by an ATF ensuring you are not liable for the Road Fund Licence.
As an Authorised Treatment Facility, prior to scrapping your vehicle, we will de-pollute the vehicle, which includes removing all tyres, fluids and batteries. This service can only be carried out with specialist equipment which
J Davidson have invested in to comply with the 2003 regulations.
Once your vehicle has been de–polluted it will then
be scrapped and the metal recycled for future use.
