As a metal Recycling Centre, J Davidson has always understood the part recycling plays in the environment. We are totally committed to reducing the countries carbon footprint through the reduction of the use of virgin products to manufacture all things metal. We are also committed to reducing our own carbon footprint which is why we specify the latest Euro 5 vehicles when purchasing new trucks used in the collection and delivering of scrap.

Always striving to grasp new regulations, the company was the first Authorised End of Life Vehicle treatment facility in the North West. This enabled us to document, accept and de-pollute all end of life vehicles in accordance with EC legislation and in conjunction with the DVLA prior to sending them for shredding.

By separating most of the recyclable material we receive, your waste that ends up in landfill is significantly reduced.

J Davidson meets all the relevant United Kingdom and EU specifications for recycled material and, working alongside our customers, develops new standards where none existed before. In addition, we adapt to the needs of the changing market and constantly update our products to meet industry needs.
