The Scrap Metal environment is considered by most to be quite hazardous and the plant equipment used is extremely heavy and powerful. Here at J Davidson we take the health and safety of our employers and visitors extremely seriously.

Our Health and safety policies underpin the functions within our whole operation. To J Davidson it is imperative that all our staff are aware of and action the policies that are in place. Whether this is ensuring the correct clothing is worn at all times to managing the training of staff in the operation of heavy machinery. We endeavour to train as many of our staff as possible in IOSH training courses.

Regular Health & Safety Meetings are mandatory with the objective of reviewing and improving our current policies and maintaining our Health and Safety record.
